Welcome to our website!

Hello, my name is Pamela Szelung and I am the Editor-in-Chief for the Journal for the 2013-14 academic year.

First, let me take a moment to say “Welcome to our new website!”  As the Journal publishes its 30th volume at The John Marshall Law School this year, it has undergone many exciting changes in order to keep up with the ever-evolving legal field of information technology and privacy.  To kick off the academic year, the Journal adopted a new name – The John Marshall Journal of Information Technology & Privacy Law.  As proud as we are of what the Journal accomplished under the previous name of the Journal of Computer & Information Law, we felt it was the right time to update the name of the Journal in order to reflect the scope of legal issues that the publication covers.

Additionally, all past issues of the Journal are now available on our website.  No longer will a subscription be required to enjoy all that the Journal has to offer.  With that being said, I encourage you to browse our website and if you have not already done so, catch up on some of the latest developments in the areas of information technology and privacy law right here.

I sincerely hope you enjoy our new website and the articles that are electronically available for download or purchase, as well as this blog, which is written and managed by the student members of the Journal.  It is our goal to make this blog not only exciting and interesting to read, but one of the first places you look for new developments in information technology and privacy law.
