RIPL’s 2013 Symposium

RIPL is excited to announce its fourth annual symposium. This year’s topic is IP Rights, Ownership and Identity in Social Media. The keynote address will be delivered by John Corvino, general counsel for the Chicago White Sox, and Tony McShane, partner at the Chicago-based firm Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg. Additional speakers include the Honorable James Holderman, chief judge for the Northern District of Illinois; Dr. Saby Ghoshray, esteemed author and vice president for Development and Compliance at World Compliance Company; Professor Lucille Ponte from the University of Central Florida College of Health & Public Affairs; Professor Mary Penrose from Texas Wesleyan School of Law; Keidra Chaney, digital strategist; Jennifer Gregory of Jenner & Block; and Raizel Liebler, law librarian for The John Marshall Law School.

The symposium will be held at the 12th Floor Conference Center at The John Marshall Law School on Friday, April 5, 2013. Registration and breakfast begin at 8 a.m., with presentations to follow shortly thereafter. Each attendee will be provided with lunch and a flash drive comprising all symposium materials. Attendees can also obtain approximately 5.5 hours of CLE credit.
