The 5th Annual Review of Intellectual Property Law Symposium will be held on November 8, 2013 on the topic of IPublic Health: The Intersection of Intellectual Property Rights and Public Health. We are proud to be in a partnership with the American Bar Association Section of International Law.
We will have speakers addressing issues of IP innovation and human rights, regulatory shelters in biotechnology, reverse payment agreements, drug innovation, the Affordable Care Act, and the Orphan Drug Act. New court decisions in Myriad and Novartis will be elucidated. We will also have speakers tackling the alternative patenting systems in Canada and West Africa.
The Symposium’s Keynote Speaker, Kevin Noonan of McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff LLP and founder of Patent Docs, will be addressing reverse payment agreements and their role in the larger patent system.
